The apartments have parquet flooring, while the bathroom, WC and kitchen are tiled. Heating is provided by gas central heating. Every apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washing machine connection.

In addition, there is a shared laundry room available to residents, and every apartment has its own cellar compartment for extra storage space. Rounding off the offering are a passenger lift and a cable TV connection. At the main entrance, a wheelchair lift provides step-free access to the building.

Währing combines city proximity with genuine neighbourhood character: around Aumannplatz and Gentzgasse you'll find everything that makes daily life easy – and most of it within about a 15-minute walk. Supermarkets and local shops along Gentzgasse and Gersthofer Straße cover the everyday shopping, complemented by Gersthofer Markt and Kutschkermarkt with their farmers' stalls, delicatessens and coffee houses. Pharmacy, doctors and a drugstore are likewise close by, around Aumannplatz and Gentzgasse. Families appreciate the wide choice of kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in the 18th district. For strolling, the Gentzgasse and Währinger Straße shopping streets invite you in with their shops, restaurants and traditional coffee houses, and for a break in between, Türkenschanzpark – one of Vienna's most beautiful parks – is just a few minutes' walk away.

Public transport connections are excellent: tram lines 40 and 41 stop right at Aumannplatz, line 9 and bus 40A round out the offering, and at Bahnhof Gersthof the S45 suburban train takes you quickly in every direction. All stops are within comfortable walking distance – the city centre and the surrounding area are close at hand.

eugen!'s tip: at Kutschkermarkt, the Genusspfad is well worth it – small stalls with cheese, wine and coffee, at their best on Saturdays. And in Türkenschanzpark, the path leads up to the Paulinenwarte: from there you get one of the finest views over Vienna that hardly anyone knows about.
